I’ve spent the last 6 weeks traveling around the beaches of North Wexford with Robert, my PA. All the photos we’ve taken show how inaccessible the beaches are to people like me. Aren’t they lovely but it’s a pity I can’t get down with my friends and family.
Here are some examples of wheelchair access successfully implemented around beaches in Ireland. Dollymount has the rubber rollout Mobi Mat; Salthill’s rollout mat is made of hession while Curracloe has a wooden walkway.
